I have just learned that Zig Ziglar passed away this morning in the United States. This is one of the characters who helped me understand that I could get more out of life by changing my attitude.

Zig Ziglar’s legacy

It was 2003, I was looking for a coach who could teach me how to sell so that I could become better and my choice stopped on Zig. I bought my first box set “See you at the top” from the airport while I was traveling to the US for a big conference in network marketing.

I then bought a whole collection of CDs and books about success and attitude. Thanks to his ability to tell captivating and interesting stories, I realized that attitude was everything, and that the most important thing you can do to succeed is worked on your own self-image.

This is one of the key keys to staying motivated and achieving greatness. I can vividly remember reading his book “See You At The Top”, where he talks about creating this healthy self-image as a prerequisite for success in sales. Without it, you could never succeed in sales or network marketing.

I was driving to downtown Beirut, I was putting Zig Ziglar’s tapes,to better understand what he was explaining, my godfather was in the car with me, he said, “Agnes, why are you listening to this crap?” All you need to do is recruit more people and your results will improve. Because he had achieved the “millionaire” qualification, I thought something was wrong with me.

But reading the books, and Zig Ziglar tapes; these words full of wisdom and inspiration, failing to get people to register with me allowed me to realize that I held the keys to success, allowed me to become a better person, a person that everyone today wants to work with. All I had to do was change my attitude. There was a quote from Zig Ziglar that I etched into my subconscious and that I use every day in my coachings or in my network and I know it is absolutely true.

You can have everything you want in life, if you help enough people get what they want.

What can I say … all this “trick” worked! And still works today I am grateful to the likes of Zig Ziglar, Jim Rohn, Bob Proctor my mentor, Anthony Robins and many others who like him have helped me in my personal journey Because when you get other people to join your business, you can buy a marketing product through one of your affiliate links… The amount of money you earn is nothing compared to how much you help change their lives. This so-called personal development “thing” has changed my life.

Among the most beautiful quotes from Zig Ziglar, this one:

The worst decision of all is one that has not been made.

Will you Take the DECISION that will change your life?
